The curtain rises!

Opening Ceremony Tokyo finally opened its door yesterday. A seven floor department store in the heart of trendy Shibuya district. An amazing mini-mall that function much more like a shop-in-shop retail concept. Each label/designer could facilitate their design concept beyond their merchandise by creating a presentation of their products within the store. Each of the 7 floors are based on a particular subject matter, with the presentation and the products there to tell the story in an abstract rendition.
  • 1st Floor - A Trip Across America
  • 2nd Floor - A Home Without Walls
  • 3rd Floor - City Of The Future
  • 4th Floor - Welcome Home
  • 5th Floor - A Walk In The Park
  • 6th Floor - Office Space
  • 7th Floor - Up On The Roof.
I'm hoping a trip to Tokyo is in my near future!!!!
Of course the opening was a star studded event.

Olsen twins look adorable. Love the little lace ears. Not sure how I feel about Kirsten Dunst harajuku look.

footloose!

With fall just creeping around the corner I've started to think about the new foot fashions I am gonna be donning... I want new boots, and good ones at that. Last year I bought Frye's and couldn't have been happier. I am still looking forward to wearing them again this season but I know I will have to add a fantastic new pair. Now it is just about finding one I can afford and that will get me through this winter and hopefully many more to come.

I really just want them all to magically appear in my closet! oh, how life would be so grand.

Slacker!

Sorry for the lack of posts lately.... between vacation and work I just haven't been able to find the time. So what are you doing this weekend? I am pretty excited to say I have no plans what so ever, just enjoying one of the last few summer weekends in the city. Oh, one thing I am gonna do is check out Circa Now's sidewalk sale this weekend!
and of course.... outfits from the week.
have a great weekend!

Frick and Frack

Boys and girls get ready to step out in the ubiquitous and undeniably indie stars duds for fall. Chloe Sevigny has dropped yet another Opening Ceremony line! Currently all style are on their website.. and I am totally loving the photo shoot. All you girls who want your man to have some kick ass style then get ready to drop the bills for some Chloe merch.

who, what, wear!

This weeks looks. One extra since I changed to go to the beach! Been lots of rain on our vacation which is a total bummer. Good thing we know how to keep ourselves busy in the house. Hope everyone has a great weekend.

how sweet it is...

There is nothing quite like being in your parents home, especially when they have as good taste as my mom and dad! Through the years they have acquired some wonderful little nic-nacks on their travels. The coolest part is definitely my dads music memorabilia. I have taken some photos to share with you a few of my faves. My mothers taste for textiles definitely shines through in all the linens, wallpaper, and upholstrey.
