I know not all of my readers are brooklynites but the ones who are I'm sure you've heard of Crest Hardware store.. and if your not then you must go check it out, especially since the brand spank'in new garden center is now open!!! I was lucky enough to get some great photos of the entire process that went into building the garden center and knew I had to share them with you! Also please save the date: june 13th will be the second annual Crest Hardware Art Show!!! this event was a major success last year and this year is planning on being even bigger. If you are an artist and want to submit work then please send an email to joe@cresthardwareartshow.com deadline to submit is May 18th!

what a wonderful weekend!

fun times with fabulous friends... I know we are all super stoked it has finally hit spring and I am sure everyone took full advantage of the sun! saturday was one of those perfect days that you wish would never end. me and the hubby spent the day in mccarren park and boy was it packed. we were able to find some shade and do some reading and relaxing.the williamsburg kite festival was in full effect!

then saturday night we hit the streets to party it up. first we went to this party

where we danced the night away
look at all the lovely people

then we took it to the streets,,, and of course ended up at pete's candy shop!

I can actually hear the birds cheering for the warm weather and sunny days ahead of us. this weekend is suppose to hit high 80's!!!! It always seems that spring just gets skipped and we jump right into summer. I just hope it will stay over 65 degrees from now on.

Nikita denim is a small company founded in Iceland about 8 years ago... today they are making bad ass jeans that are definitely the focal point of your outfit.

shopnastygal.com is all I have to say. I am not sure why no one had told me about this site,,, especially since it has been on ebay since 2006!!!!! I am now obsessed. go and check it out and I guarantee you will either find a new amazing piece of vintage or a great priced new favorite item for your closet.

rain rain go AWAY

for the next couple weeks I am going to be working on a project for Gerard Yosca.. I figure since I am getting to know his jewelry then why not fill you in... Yosca has been designing for the past 25 years.
